1. Who We Are
TurboPay is operated by Okomba Analytics. We provide a digital wallet and payments platform for Nigerian residents. Our services are powered by CBN-licensed partners for fund holding and settlement.
2. Data We Collect
We collect: your full name, email address, phone number, device information (IP, browser, OS), transaction data (amounts, recipients, timestamps), KYC information (NIN, BVN — encrypted at rest), and security event logs. We do NOT store your full card numbers, CVV, or banking credentials.
3. How We Use It
Your data is used for: service delivery (wallet, transfers, bills), identity verification (KYC), fraud prevention and AML monitoring, transaction notifications, customer support, and regulatory compliance as required by CBN and NDPA.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with CBN-licensed partners (Monnify, Paystack) for service delivery, and with regulatory authorities when legally required. We never sell your data to third parties.
5. Your Rights (NDPA)
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and export your data in a portable format. Contact support@okomba.com to exercise these rights.
6. Data Retention
For active accounts, we retain your data for the duration of your relationship with TurboPay. For closed accounts, we retain transaction records for 7 years as required by CBN anti-money laundering regulations.
7. Security
We protect your data with AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, scrypt-hashed passwords and PINs, HttpOnly session cookies, and a double-entry immutable ledger for all financial transactions. Access to your data is logged and audited.
