Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a TurboPay account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria to use TurboPay. You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

3. Account Registration and Verification

You must verify your email and phone number after registration. For higher transaction limits, you must complete KYC verification (NIN for Tier 2, BVN for Tier 3). You are responsible for keeping your password and transaction PIN confidential.

4. Wallet Services and Transaction Limits

Your wallet allows you to fund, transfer, buy airtime/data, and pay bills. Transaction limits are based on your KYC tier: Tier 1 (₦50k single tx), Tier 2 (₦500k single tx), Tier 3 (₦5M single tx). All debits require your transaction PIN.

5. Prohibited Activities

You must not use TurboPay for: fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, false information, unauthorized transactions, or any activity prohibited by Nigerian law. Violations will result in account suspension and may be reported to authorities.

6. Fees

Internal TurboPay transfers are free. Wallet funding is free. Bill payments are free (provider margin). Card-funded payments carry 1.5% (capped at ₦2,000). SMS alerts incur a configurable charge. See the fee schedule in the app for details.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows may be scheduled. We are not liable for losses due to provider outages, network failures, or force majeure events.

8. Liability Limitations

TurboPay's liability is limited to the amount of the disputed transaction. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed ₦100,000.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State shall have exclusive jurisdiction. We encourage contacting support@okomba.com before pursuing legal action.

10. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
